Hello everyone! I'm Sara, the proud owner of Happy Hands! When I stepped into Happy Hands as its new owner, it wasn’t just about taking over a business—it was about honoring what already existed while thoughtfully shaping what it could become. The studio already held so many memories, so much creativity, and such a strong sense of community. I felt a deep responsibility to preserve that spirit, while also bringing my own perspective and experience into the space.

For years, my background was in interior design—creating environments that felt beautiful, intentional, and personal. That work taught me how much our surroundings can influence how we feel. But over time, I found myself wanting to move beyond designing spaces for people, and instead create a space where people could actively create for themselves.

Taking on Happy Hands became that bridge.

It allowed me to carry everything I loved about design—the attention to detail, the focus on experience, the importance of connection—and translate it into something more hands-on, more immediate, and more shared. This wasn’t about leaving one creative path behind, but about expanding it into something more human and interactive.

In many ways, the transition felt natural. I was still shaping an environment—but now, it’s one filled with conversation, creativity, and the quiet joy of making something with your own hands.

I welcome you all to stop by and spend some time creating, and experience for yourself what makes Happy Hands so special. Whether it’s your first visit or you’ve been here before, there’s always a place for you at the table.

We can’t wait to see you.
