Reservations are not required to paint at Happy Hands. They're strongly encouraged on weekends as that's when a vast majority of events/parties take place. Please keep in mind that all reservations are subject to availability, but we will do our best to accommodate you and your group.

General Guidelines

All finished pottery must be picked up within 30 days of your visit, regardless of notifications. If you need an extended pickup timeframe, an email request is required to avoid any miscommunications.

Orders will be ready for pickup within 7-10 business days from your visit. For rush orders, you may be subject to a $25 rush fee.

We do not guarantee all projects will be perfect. This is the charm of the handmade process.

Painting time is limited to one (1) hour. This is to accommodate reservations and disinfecting procedures between clients.

For every 15 minutes past the first hour, an additional $15 studio fee may be applied.
All pieces must be finished in one (1) visit. If you need to come back, upon request in emergency situations only, it's $15 + tax per session.

Non-Painting Guests: $25/person

We anticipate all guests to paint in the studio
Each group is welcome 1 non-painter at no additional cost
For minors, an adult must be present

All special requests not guaranteed, but we will do our best to fulfill them. We are not liable for writing requests with spelling errors. All submitted writing requests will be written on your pieces AS IS.

Please limit the number of personal belongings you bring into the studio. No outside food or beverages.

If you or anyone around you are experiencing any symptoms of illness (such as coughing, sneezing, fever, etc), have been in close contact with COVID-19, please reschedule your visit.

Pricing & Accepted Payments

Prices listed before tax (CT tax: 6.35%), which will be applied at checkout.

Cost of pottery ($) + firing fee + CT tax

$10 firing fee for most items
$25-35 firing fee for oversized pieces or pottery w/light assembly

Additional Fees (if applicable):

Extra time - $15 for each 15 min past 1 hour
Additional studio visit (per session, per item) - $15
Additional Non-Painting Guests: $25/person

Contactless (Apple Pay, Google Pay)
Gift Cards (physical or digital)

Notes:

We are not accepting cash or check payments.
Limit of 2 gift cards per visit. No exceptions.
With physical gift cards, you must spend the full value as we cannot track balances. No such limitation with digital gift cards.
Each group is permitted 1 non-painter at no additional cost.

Reservation/Cancelation Info

A Credit/Debit Card is required to make a reservation. Cards are not charged prior to your visit.

You'll be charged when you finish your painting session. You can pay with on file or a different card.

For no-shows, without notification, you are subject to a $25 cancellation/no-show fee per person.

An email must sent to Happy Hands (hhpotteryct@gmail.com) or call our studio within 24 hours of your scheduled reservation. You must get confirmation of your cancellation.
Extended/holiday hours may be available upon request.
